Kelmarsh Windfarm Community Benefit are supported by Cubico Sustainable Investments & GLIL Infrastructure Ltd.
Objectives
The purpose of the CIO is to support voluntary and community organisations near to the Kelmarsh Wind Farm. ‘Near to the Kelmarsh Windfarm’ shall be defined as Clipston, Haselbech, Kelmarsh, Naseby and other villages to a lesser extent; provided that, within the area of benefit, organisations operating in the Parishes of Clipston, Haselbech, Kelmarsh and Naseby will be supported by the fund with a priority treatment over those operating outside these parishes.
Grants will be distributed for exclusively charitable causes following policy decided by trustees of Kelmarsh Community Benefit Trust.
Trustees
Clipston, Haselbech, Kelmarsh and Naseby Parish or Special Meetings, may each appoint 2 charity trustees. Each appointment last for 3 years. KWCB has 8 trustees in total.
Applications for grants
KWCB trustees meet four times per year to decide on grant applications. The next deadline for applications is Friday 31st May 2024
Any organisation, operating formally or informally, or an individual may submit an application provided the application meets the KWCB objectives stated above.
